1、苹果掀起了一场因披萨引发的战争
近日苹果公司为继续推广旗下网站“Apple at Work”,发布了一部名为《The Underdogs》的新短片,该短片不仅向观众展示了这些产品对于忙碌员工的重要性,还借此宣传了苹果产品在企业中的实际应用能力。
广告片中,设计团队被老板要求在短时间内设计出一个全新的披萨饼盒子。公司的员工为此不分昼夜的加班工作,还动用了iPad Pro,Apple Pencil,MacBook Pro,iMac,Apple Watch等产品。在忙碌的过程中,好像有了苹果的产品,效率至少提高一半。
2、WPP设立大型工作园区Amsterdam Campus,来自15家代理商的1500名员工将在同一地点办公
为实现“全球共同定位战略(co-location strategy)”,WPP集团在荷兰阿姆斯特丹建立了名为Amsteldok的Amsterdam Campus,包含了其15家子公司的1500名员工。
Amsteldok是一个大型工作园区,将各类资源和人才集中在一个地点,客户可以更方便快捷地与这些资源进行对接。WPP致力于成为在全球范围内完成这一创举的先驱,目前其已经在上海、孟买、多伦多、布拉格等多地创建了同样的办公园区。

Keith Weed自1983年起便在联合利华供职,到今年近乎36年,自2009年开始出任联合利华首席营销官和首席传播官。在位期间,Keith Weed推动了联合利华的代理商模式改革,提升效率,为联合利华削减了一半的代理商数量;还推动行业打击数据造假问题;同时帮助联合利华完成数字化转型等一系列重要改革。

6、沃尔玛已支持使用Google Assistant语音购物
近日,沃尔玛宣布已支持Google Assistant语音购物功能,以增强与亚马逊的竞争力。用户通过向Google Assistant说出“Hey Google, talk to Walmart.”“add milk to my cart”即可完成一次购物。使用沃尔玛购物的次数越多,语音购物则越精准。
7、外媒:微软正在评估进军电商市场的可能性

12、Facebook承认数据存放于亚马逊数据库,已合作删除
美国网络安全公司UpGuard发现,上亿条保存在亚马逊AWS云计算服务器上的Facebook用户信息记录,无意中可以被任何人轻易地公开获取。另据CNBC消息,Facebook方面承认数据存放于亚马逊数据库中,并表示一被告知这个问题,公司便于亚马逊合作删除的数据库。Facebook周三收盘报173.54美元,跌0.38%。
13、Oracle 或关闭中国研发中心(CDC):裁员 1600 人
Oracle 中国研发中心(CDC)或彻底关闭,涉及约 1600 名工程师的命运。
据称裁员已确定第一阶段约 500 人,其中包括云计算部门的 130~190 人。但目前均未收到人力资源部门的正式通知。

Hulu is exploring new ad experiences for binge watchers, according to Peter Naylor, head of ad sales, as the streaming TV service looks for ways to insert brands into shows without being too intrusive.
As Hulu prepares to pitch advertisers during the NewFronts, it is thinking about ways to create a less interruptive experience. While there is no specific product for marketers to buy currently, Hulu is analyzing what the commercial experience might look like when it is clear the viewer is committed for the long haul, Naylor says.

The world of marketing used to consist of established brands and everyone else. The established brands spent heavily in traditional media to maintain and grow their markets, which were served by brick and mortar retailers. Everyone else chipped around the edges using direct mail, newspaper inserts and cheap late-night TV spots for direct response and relied more on warehouses than retail storefronts.
Then the internet happened, and with it, new ways to find and sell to consumers. The world shifted to mobile apps, and a whole new way to establish relationships with buyers emerged. Finally, streaming became an alternative to linear TV as a way to use the tradition of sight, sound and emotion to deliver a brand message.

With the rise of high-profile data breaches, a fundamental question is raised: Do users really care about controlling their data? Or is their need to use an app higher than their concern about whether their personal data is being misused?
It really comes down to what “full control” means. In an ideal world, the relationship between the consumer and the brand—and the user and the app—would be based on respect, mutual understanding and fair balance. The “transaction” would be one of where the currency of data is used to provide genuine utility to the consumer. This is the kind of world where consumers would feel truly in control of their data.

EBay notified merchants and publishers Tuesday that it will be closing down its third-party ad network, the eBay Commerce Network (ECN), as of May 1.
After five years, ECN will shut down as eBay says it is turning attention to advertising solutions for the core marketplace. “As a result, we are focusing on business that complements our core marketplace and discontinuing eBay Commerce Network effective May 1st, 2019,” the company said in a statement.

Fragmented data is a real and lingering problem for marketers. The question is whether a customer data platform (CDP) is the solution marketers seek and, if so, whether every marketer actually needs one.
The TL;DR on CDPs is that they unify, or at least aim to unify, a marketer’s first-party data, including online and offline data, which usually sits across multiple systems, in order to create persistent profiles – CDP vendors like to call them “golden records” – that can then be activated across channels, and not just for advertising use cases.

Accenture Interactive, the agency division of the global management consulting firm, said Wednesday it will acquire independent creative agency Droga5.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, though Accenture Interactive claims Droga5 is its largest agency acquisition to date. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, Accenture Interactive said in a press release.Droga5, launched in 2006 by David Droga, is a highly acclaimed creative agency famous for its work on blue chip brands like Under Armour and The New York Times. The agency has 500 employees in offices in New York and London and last reported revenue of over $200 million in 2017.
20、IAB欧洲官网cookie违背GDRP监管条例
Johnny Ryan, chief policy and industry officer at Brave, filed a complaint late Tuesday with the Irish data protection commission arguing that the cookie wall on IAB Europe’s website is “illegal” under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The IAB Europe’s site gives visitors three options: agree to the use of cookies and third-party tracking; click for more info on how the site and its third-party partners process data; or click to read IAB Europe’s privacy policy.
But unless they hit “I agree” to cookies and tracking, visitors can’t navigate to the actual website. It’s a classic cookie wall.
In February, the Dutch data protection authority issued guidance to say cookie walls are not compliant with the GDPR, because “take-it-or-leave-it” doesn’t constitute real consumer choice.
