Google has introduced a new travel app called Google Trips. And from what I can see (without having used it) it appears to be a potential winner. It’s about planning and itinerary management vs reservations or travel booking.

 

2、观点 | Loyalty a key tool to drive retailer app adoption, says Belly

 

Most retailer apps have fallen flat with consumers, and adoption and retention are generally poor. Indeed, Walmart is the only traditional retailer with an app in the top 25, according to comScore. Chicago-based Belly thinks it has an answer: mobile loyalty. The company, which has historically focused on the SMB market, is today releasing its new cloud-based loyalty and CRM platform for enterprise retailers, Blue.

 

3、营销 | Social ad engagement increases by 10pc with emoji inclusion: Twitter

 

Twitter’s newfound focus on custom emojis has prompted a slew of brands to hop on the bandwagon and include the digital icons within their social media ads in an effort to increase engagement among millennials and younger consumers. Per Twitter, this strategy is paying off, especially when considering the fact that emotional connection increases by six times when branded emojis are included alongside a promoted video on the social platform.

 

4、SaaS | 甲骨文签约腾讯云进入中国公有云市场



甲骨文和腾讯云正式签署了合作协议。这标志着甲骨文的云计算服务业正式落地中国了。根据此前的谅解备忘录,甲骨文将通过与腾讯云的合作,把其完整的企业级云服务解决方案引入中国,包括 SaaS(软件即服务)、PaaS(平台即服务)和 IaaS(基础设施即服务)三层云服务。


5、公关 | 三星中国爆炸门原因在查 市场份额跌至第六位



针对中国曝出的三星Note 7的两起爆炸案,三星电子的回应是:这与电池无关。三星还表示没有必要在中国进行大规模召回,因为中国的电池供应商没有问题。此举也是三星为了不丧失中国这个全球最大的智能手机市场所做出的努力。尽管如此,三星也很难再实现其“重返中国”的雄心。根据研究机构Canalys的数据,目前三星在中国的销量已经跌至第六位,原因是中国本土手机厂商的崛起。

 

6、数据 | 苗圩:中国手机用户已超13亿,6.46亿为4G用户

 

工信部部长苗圩在通信展暨ICT中国·2016高层论坛开幕式上致辞时提及,截止今年7月,中国移动电话用户总数达到13.04亿户,其中4G用户总数达到6.46亿户。

 

7、公关 | 华为声明回应操纵打击三星的品牌影响力的传言

 

三星的声明发出之后,网上出现了一条传闻:三星电池爆炸是友商华为做了手脚,华为希望借此来打击三星的品牌影响力,从而坐收渔利。针对这些传言,华为今天晚上通过官方微博做出了回应。华为表示,三星国行Note 7爆炸事件和华为没有任何关系,华为“不作恶、不落井下石”,这是华为“最基本的商业道德底线”。

 

8、视频 | 今日头条正式加入短视频竞争 投10亿元补贴创作者



9月20日上午消息,今日头条今日宣布投资10亿元用以补贴短视频创作,正式加入短视频领域竞争。今日头条创始人及CEO张一鸣表示,短视频门槛低,需求旺盛,创作甚至创业都大有可为,已经成为内容创业新近崛起的风口。于是今日头条方面决定:在未来12个月,至少投入10亿人民币补贴给头条号上的短视频创作者,同时给予每一条优质原创短视频至少10万次加权推荐。

 

9、资本 | 腾讯持股45%成搜狗最大股东,但搜狗IPO决定权握在搜狐手中

 

根据搜狐最新提交的SEC文件显示,截至6月30日,腾讯已经取代搜狐成为搜狗最大股东,持股比例达45%,但搜狐及搜狐管理层目前仍拥有对搜狗的最大投票权。根据搜狐方面的财报显示,搜狗已经连续10个季度实现规模性盈利。然而作为旗下最优质资产,搜狐方面对搜狗的IPO始终还没有任何表态。

 

10、案例 | Spotify and Tinder Want to Help Connect Users Through Their Musical Tastes

 

Spotify is teaming up with Tinder to integrate the music-streaming service into the single-swiping service as a way for users to showcase their music preferences in their dating profile. The music/dating match, announced today, allows users to include a "personal anthem" that shows each person's top artists. In a blog post Spotify said the feature could be a way to "make a little music with someone new."
