1、 大公司  阿里将超百度成中国最大数字广告平台



据研究公司eMarketer,中国移动广告今年将实现两位数增长,阿里巴巴今年预计将超过百度,成为中国数字广告市场龙头。百度在中国数字广告市场份额预计将从去年的28%下滑至21%,阿里巴巴的则将提升4个百分点,至29%。最大的三家互联网公司阿里巴巴、腾讯、百度合计占中国数字广告市场60%的份额。

3、 移动市场 | 每月卖1000万部智能手机!印度市场直逼中国

 



苹果、谷歌等西方智能手机制造商正在加速涌入东方世界,为像印度这样的人口大国和新兴市场量身定制全新的手机功能。 

 

投资者的嗅觉总是很敏锐。目前,印度堪称世界上智能手机增长最快的国家。据互联网数据统计中心(IDC)数据,2016年第二季度在印度市场共售出2750万部智能机(相当于一个月卖近1000万部),同比2015年第二季度增长了17%。6月发布的爱立信移动报告(Ericsson Mobility Report)预计,在2021年前,印度的移动用户将达到14亿。


4、 大公司 | Rik van der Kooi On Microsoft’s Shifting Sales Structure, LinkedIn Data And Its Approach To AI

 

Microsoft underwent big shifts in its platforms and ads business in the last year, first when it shook up its sales structure by outsourcing its direct order business to AOL and again, when it dropped $26.2 billion on LinkedIn.

And now, Microsoft is eyeing artificial intelligence.


It recently bought messaging app developer Wand Labs to beta test intelligent chat bots for Bing.

 

5、 程序化购买 | Xaxis Hatches Three-Prong Plan To Improve Programmatic Buying

 

Xaxis is placing three bets on how it can evolve programmatic buying, according to global COO Nicolle Pangis.


One, it wants to understand the entire consumer life cycle. That means using historical data and a team of data scientists to figure out when someone enters the market for an item and the best time to influence that purchase.

Two, Xaxis wants to inject its own tech and algorithms into existing demand-side platforms (DSPs) through an initiative called “Co-Pilot.” It started with AppNexus, in which WPP owns a stake, but is open to all DSPs, though not all are equipped to let an outsider’s algorithm and data management platform (DMP) take over. Other machine-learning-focused initiatives will follow.

 

6、 广告市场 | Global Mobile Advertising Revenues surged to $49 billion in 2015

 



The IAB Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence, IAB Europe, and IHS Technology revealed their global figures for mobile advertising revenue which increased 68.2 percent to $49.bn (€37bn) in 2015 from $29bn (€22bn) in 2014, driven by a mobile first consumer world and improving marketing technologies. Mobile display continues to drive investment with the highest growth at 92.6%, while mobile search lagged behind, up 51.8%. Messaging grew by 20%, as users continue to migrate from operator-owned messaging services to app-based messaging platforms.  In 2015, display accounts for over half of all mobile spend globally with a 52.3% share at $26bn (€19bn) and search takes a 42.8% share at $21bn (€16bn). Messaging’s share continues to decline with a 5% share at $2.4bn (€2bn).

When Dentsu Inc. proactively informed longtime client Toyota of "irregularities" related to some digital media business transactions this week, the Association of National Advertisers applauded.

 

"My first thought was kudos to Dentsu for taking the step and being proactive in alerting their client to this issue versus what could happened the other way around with finding out from an audit," said Bill Duggan, group executive-VP at the ANA.

 

8、人事变动 | Kelly Clark Rejoins GroupM As Global CEO

 

He didn’t stay away for long. Kelly Clark was North American CEO for WPP’s GroupM from 2012 to 2015, when he left, reportedly to spend more time with his family. Now he is back -- this time as global CEO of the WPP media management arm.

 

The role was previously unfilled, and Irwin Gotlieb remains global chairman of the unit while Dominic Proctor -- who has been global president -- is stepping down from that role but will remain with WPP to work on undisclosed strategic projects, according to the company.

 

9、苹果 | Apple Adds To Machine Learning Arsenal



Marking its fourth such acquisition in about a year, Apple has acquired machine-learning startup Tuplejump. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

 

Apple opened a development office in Hyderabad, India earlier this year. Coincidence or not, Tuplejump was founded in Hyderabad, in 2013.

 

While the space remains highly experimental, Apple and other tech giants already use machine learning to speed up searches and classify images and facial recognition, among other tasks.

 

10、谷歌VR | 谷歌释出测试版VR SDK 开发者可开发Daydream应用了

 

据外媒报道,在今年5月的Google I/O大会上,谷歌推出了高质量的移动VR平台Daydream。在收集了数月的反馈后,它们终于放出了测试版的谷歌VR SDK,开发者可以开始打造Daydream应用了。此外,由于谷歌已经与Unity和Unreal达成合作,开发者们还能直接用上两家公司的游戏引擎和开发工具。

 

第一版SDK简化了VR开发任务,允许开发者集中精力打造“沉浸感十足的移动交互VR应用。”同时,它还支持异步投影技术(asynchronous reprojection,可提高刷新率)和高保真立体音效。此外,Daydream的手柄可玩性也很强。
